Learning in the Classroom

Last week we learned about word sorts. I think this is a great way for students to review past words and learn more. This also has them thinking critically. For a word sort you randomly place words all of the board. Then you have the students sort the words into groups. They are supposed to chose words that they think would have the same meanings. I think this would really come in handy to use in my future classroom.

  1. I think the use of word sort's is such a great idea and glad we got to learn about it. I think it's definitely something we can use in the near future in teaching and I like that you said it makes them think more critically! I agree!:)
